V-Max® is ideal
for a variety of Tag & Label, Sign & Banner and Commercial Print
applications where good printability, stiffness, opacity and
water resistance is needed. This product should be used for
commodity driven, price sensitive applications when printing
with one-color or two-color flexo, thermal transfer, sheet offset
or screen. Multi-color, tight registration narrow web flexo
printing should be avoided whenever possible.
Convert-all, Inc. offers
the following grades of V-Max®, in virtually any combination
to each other, in custom slit rolls, short yardage rolls, precision
cut sheets, banner blanks and large master rolls:
• Uncoated (UCT)
• Clay coated one side (C1S)
• Clay coated two sides (C2S)
• Specialty top coated
• PSA coated (PSA)
• Color pigmented
• Laminated
Uncoated grades have
a semi-gloss appearance and are corona treated on both sides.
They can be flexo, screen and thermal transfer printed. Clay
coated grades have improved opacity and an attractive, smooth
matte-white finish. Clay coated grades can be printed flexo,
screen, thermal transfer and offset. Clay coated one side, specialty
top coated, psa coated, heat seal coated and all laminated grades
of V-Max® are hybrid products produced exclusively by Convert-all
and marketed under our PrintMaster® GP product line. These
unique V-Max® based products can be printed wide format
inkjet, color laser, direct thermal, dot-matrix, digital (Xeikon®),
flexo, screen, offset and thermal transfer. Other variations,
including food grade, pigmented (yellow) and clear versions
are also available.
